World Studies Index was created to help prospective students and working professionals make informed decisions about academic programs. We analyze programs using a comparative evaluation framework that examines academic rigor alongside real-world outcomes. Our analysis considers accreditation and recognition to understand institutional credibility, flexibility and delivery to evaluate how well programs suit working professionals, and the number of intakes per academic year to assess accessibility.
We also consider additional program features such as exit pathways, recognition of prior learning (RPL), and other student support options. Where career outcome information is accessible, we look at career progression and long-term value to provide insights into program outcomes. Our assessments are based on the information available from each institution and public sources.
Currently, our recommendations and analysis are focused on Online MBA programs, with plans to expand to additional courses in the future.
